Turning on our Self-Healing Potential, Canada, Sunday, 04. February 2018

It is said in yoga, that this world is our silent teacher, this world also has us dealing with stressful situations and even traumatizing situations in our daily lives.

As humans we are physically and mentally designed to not only survive these situations but to learn from them and evolve. To do so, we need to learn how to create time and space to apply our own healing powers. With the rapid pace of life, this is something we often don’t find time for anymore. There is nothing more valuable than the ability to give ourselves the deep nourishing care we need.

In this masterclass will start with a meditation to open our minds to see clearly what it is we need in our lives at this time to offer our own healing powers, and an asana practice focusing on releasing fascia tension, and preparing the body to release stress that is stored in our nervous system and muscles. The asana practice is followed by a 20 minute Yoga Nidra session, where we find the sweet spot of being asleep and awake, allowing our bodies to integrate the healing powers that take place when we restore deeply.
