Kirkland Lake Arts Fest, Canada, Friday, 17. August 2018

The Museum and Kirkland Lake Arts Club are partnering together to present the 1st Annual Kirkland Lake Arts Festival.

This festival will be a blend of symposium (with workshops, demonstrations and networking), market (with food, art, and service vendors), interactive art exhibition, performances, and overall celebration of art in the North!

We want to showcase budding as well as professional artists and artisans: potters, sculptors, jewellers, woodworkers, tattoo artists, painters, performers (dance and music), videographers/photographers and graphic artists, culinary artists, poets and writers, fringe artists, etc … An event specifically to join together and celebrate art; a space created for those who are being called to art to explore, grow and connect.

This event will take place on Friday, August 17th (6-9 p.m.) and Saturday, August 18th (10 a.m. – 3 p.m.).

The Arts Fest will be held at the Museum, both indoors and outdoors (weather permitting). As an artist you can participate in many ways! We have tables to rent for those artists looking sell or promote their art products and/or services. We also have time slots to host those artists who would like to offer a demonstration, workshop, presentation and/ or “Art Talks” (our art version of “Ted Talks”)!

Should you wish to participate in this event by becoming a vendor and/ or demonstrator/presenter please fill out the forms and return to the Museum secured with payment by Wednesday, August 2nd.
