BBC World Service Radio Arts Hour on Tour: Montreal, La Tulipe, Thursday, 19. July 2018

The BBC World Service is in Montreal on July 19, 2018 to record their world-renowned radio programme The Arts Hour on Tour. 
 
The BBC’s Nikki Bedi will be on stage at La Tulipe Theatre, with the city’s star music and comedy performers and top creative talents, to discuss the hottest local trends and issues, in front of a live audience. How does the relationship between Francophone and Anglophone cultures  feed creativity in this multicultural city? And how is the cultural landscape changing for Indigenous  artists in and around Montreal?
 
Nikki will be joined by film director Mathieu Denis; Novelist Heather O’Neill, filmmaker and creator of TV dramedy `Mohawk Girls`, Tracey Deer, and Radio Canada host Catherine Pogonat. There is live stand up from comedian Eddy King, and live music from Martha Wainwright and Dead Obies.
